Kelowna Chamber Golf Tournament
Berry Architecture was a sponsor at the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on May 24 at The Harvest Golf Course. The golf team taking part were George, Isaac, Carlos, and Ray. Cassia, Laura, Ileana, and Emma were the support team at our booth looking after our “Guess the Number of Tees” contest (there were 157) and providing free golf balls and information about the firm. We were sponsoring a “hole in one” hole, so someone had to be watching it at all times!
New Team Member
Welcome to our newest team member, Emma Saville. Emma is a student in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Toronto. She has completed her first year of studies and is working for us as a summer student in the Kelowna office. Carlos and Cassia are very glad of the support for the next couple of months. Welcome, Emma!
Contest Winner
Our "Guess the Number of Tees" contest winner was won by a team member at Parke Pacific Projects. The prize was an assortment of wines. Pictured are Justin Basset from Parke Pacific and Carlos.
BAA Marketing Re-Vamp
Berry Architecture is currently working with a Marketing firm, Twin Creek Media, to re-vamp our marketing materials and website. This entails meticulous photo shoots and videos taking place at the Red Deer and Kelowna offices (the Cranbrook team will be next). It has been exciting to see how everything is coming together—with new videos, photographs, ads, social media content, and website refresh. The last time we did a major overhaul was 2018, so it is definitely time for an upgrade! Stay tuned for our website relaunch in early July.
Angela and Tracey at CSC Conference
Angela and Tracey E. attended the Construction Specifications Canada 2023 Conference in Calgary, May 25-26. The conference theme was ‘Pursuing New Heights’, and the learning sessions included a variety of topics including accessibility, carbon embodiment, and materials and building systems. They also met several product representatives and saw some interesting new products now on the market. It was a great two days of learning and connecting with people in the industry.
