Saint Aidan Orthodox Church in Cranbrook, BC underwent an extensive renovation and addition. The interior of the church was renovated, with the orientation of the nave reversed from the previous layout. The addition houses the new church entrance and foyer as well as new stairs connecting the floors. In the basement, there is now a larger kitchen, and the multi-purpose space has been enlarged and provides more room for the church’s outreach missions. St. Aidan is now fully barrier-free with an accessible bathroom layout and a new lift to access all levels.
