Grace United Church
Lloydminster, Alberta
This project was a major addition and renovation of the existing Grace United Church in Lloydminster. The scope involved demolition of a 1950’s wing and the 1970’s era administration spaces. The new construction includes administration spaces, meeting rooms, high-end kitchen, large multi-purpose hall, new sound system, and possible rental space for appropriate community services.
The existing sanctuary has been preserved and blends seamlessly with the new addition. The renovation includes a basement (roughed-in for future development), main floor, and mezzanine. The church is now completely barrier-free. The renovation also includes provisions for a future green roof.
