This affordable multi-family development project is located in the southeastern part of Invermere, BC. The residential development provides a variety of both affordable and market rate housing options, with sizes ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom housing. When complete, the development will feature 104 units overall, consisting of three 16-plex buildings, 13 four-plex buildings, and four single family houses, plus parking, bicycle and ski storage facilities, and a shared green space. Of the 100 multi-units, 68 will be available for rent and 32 will be for sale.
Although the homes are designed to be affordable, they are also constructed to provide a long-lasting high value, with low maintenance exteriors featuring Hardie Board siding and lifetime-rated shingles. Inside, there are complete appliance packages and high-quality durable finishes throughout. The homes are being built to BC Energy Step Code 4, ensuring homes are comfortable, efficient, and durable. As an additional family-friendly feature, the community park will be donated to the municipality of Invermere and will be open to the public.
