The interior space of the health centre required modernization and renovation to better utilize the existing building and redistribute the internal operations in a more efficient manner. Berry Architecture designed floor plan layout options, consulted on interior design, coordinated mechanical and electrical requirements, and provided construction administration until completion. Working with Health Canada, we developed a strategic phasing plan that allowed for occupancy during the entire construction phase. The center provides the following services: community health, environmental health, medical clinic, optical clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy, home care, and counseling and support services. Project was completed in 2009.
