Sunnybrook United Church in Red Deer, Alberta was built in the early 1960’s and had undergone a major renovation project in the early 90’s. The intent of this project was to re-design the front of the sanctuary to allow for greater flexibility. The challenge was that the church is designed symmetrically on either side of the cross. We had to create a design that worked with the grand piano, organ, and pulpit while still being visually balanced. We also provided movable privacy panels for the choir loft to allow for plays, concerts, and yearly events.
