Anastacia joined the Berry team in March of 2021. She works as a senior technologist for our firm; however, she holds Bachelor’s and Specialist (equivalent to Master’s) degrees in Architecture from the Ukraine. Anastacia completed seven years of experience as a design architect in Ukraine and has an additional ten years of experience as a technologist in Canada. She has also received her designation as an Engineer-in-Training from APEGA.  

A typical day for Anastacia includes working drawing production using Revit, design development and product research, building code and land-use bylaw analysis, and participation in all team BIM training and standards development.  

Anastacia is passionate about creating high-quality spaces that transform peoples’ lives and bring value to society. She believes that our lives are affected by our surroundings and that architecture can be a powerful tool to empower people to be their best selves.

Her goal with the firm is to contribute to Berry’s efforts to create great places to live, work, learn, and play. She is continuing her professional development through mentorship, with the goal of obtaining her architectural designation in Canada.  

Anastacia enjoys athletic and outdoor pursuits, including jogging, biking, and skating. She is committed to furthering the cause of social justice and inclusion and volunteers with the Calgary Board of Education and the City of Calgary Local Immigrant Partnership.
