This project in Cranbrook, BC was an exterior and interior renovation of a mixed-use office building, consisting of tenant retail spaces and co-working offices. The building received a complete face-lift on the exterior as well as interior renovations and reconfigurations to the tenant and co-working spaces.
The main floor currently houses a local organic market, with the remainder earmarked for future tenant spaces. The second floor is comprised of a co-working space of approximately 5,425 ft2. This floor accommodates 16 offices, small and large meeting rooms (for 4 to 15 people), an open collaboration space with small work stations, a reception area, washrooms, and common spaces, including a kitchen and seating areas. An industrial theme was chosen for the interiors with exposed mechanical ducting and ceilings.
A unique feature is a living green wall in the second-floor lobby which provides a beautiful aesthetic element, as well as benefits in terms of air quality, humidity, and noise reduction.
